How do you carry your snow gear up to the mountain? I want to see your snowboard/ski racks mounted to your Tacoma... roof, bed, hitch, anywhere!

I keep it simple, it's usually me and my girlfriend and we just put our skis in a travel bag and throw it in the bed. We have a pretty big plano case that we tie down in the back that has our boots, outerwear, helmets etc in it. On longer trips we take the big rtic cooler, suitcases and an additional plano case with food supplies and there is still plenty of room for our ski bag.

Looks good! Any issues mounting that up to a Prinsu? Do you load it from the side steps or from the bed? Thanks for sharing!
That is my plan for the moment with 2-3 people... exploring rack ideas for an upcoming 4 person trip where the bed might get a bit full fitting all the gear under a tonneau cover. Thanks for sharing!

I use Mobtown bars that mount over my tonneau cover and attached the Kuat Grip to carry Skis/Snow equipment. Love the setup as I can lock my tailgate with tonneau and also have a yakima skybox for additional storage. Also the Kuat Grips have locks to secure your equipment, as well as locks to secure on the bed bars. Highly recommend!

I really like your setup as it's easily accessible and down out of the wind... I also have a factory tonneau cover and didn't know they made bars like this. Could someone unbolt and remove the bars in an overnight parking situation? Thanks for sharing!

Yes, they could take the bars off with a wrench, but with the cargo box and kuat grips/ and or my 1 up bike racks on it, it will be quite the pain to do. i would assume at minimum, you would need 2 people to take the bars off with all the attachments i have. Would highly recommend the Mobtown off-road bars for our trucks as they are top notch!

Thule rack on top. I usually have a full cab so clothes and gear go in the bed.

I have Yakima bars installed on my retractable Truck Covers USA tonneau. Here I'm using a Yakima fat cat Evo 6. It'll fit up to 6 pairs of skis, 4 snowboards, and combinations of the two. I had two boards and two pairs of skis mounted last weekend. It's nice having all the bags, boots, etc, separate in the bed. Also easier access to gear at this level than the roof.

Don't have a winter picture, but I use the same yakima powderhound on the OEM rack that I use for fishing poles in the summer. Fits 4 pairs of skis or snowboards.
