3rd Gen Replacement Rear Bumper Cap

Can anyone make recommendations for a reputable retailer to get a replacement end cap for the bumper? Or if someone on here has replaced their bumper and still ahs the OEM parts and willing to sell that would be awesome. Looking for Army Green (6V7) rear driver side with backup sensor hole.

FWIW: I have found some aftermarkets that look decent, but it would be awesome if I could get a genuine Toyota replacement that's painted, I've only been able to find that in chrome or black (unfinished.)

Toyota doesn’t directly sell painted parts. You can get a body shop to paint them most likely

 

Thanks, I think I came across this one and didn't realize they were ordering the OEM part then painting it before shipping out. This could be a good solution.

 

I was able to order painted mirror caps to replace my chrome ones directly from a Toyota dealer so that's why I've been wondering if I could get this part painted directly as well.

 

Did you order them through a dealership and they painted them? I know some do that. I’m pretty sure that’s what happened, but I could be wrong


Edit: I had a look and your right about the mirrors. I didn’t know they did that. With bumper covers though I’m pretty sure it’s only black and chrome though unfortunately

I got one for my 2016 and it was a VIN specific part.

 

Ya it looks like that might be the case, but either way some of the retailers I found might work well since they use OEM parts and not aftermarket. My only worry would be about the paint matching exactly, but many look like they use the exact Toyota paint code and have good reviews. My whole reasoning for doing this is someone backed into my bumper and did minor surface/paint damage and I was thinking it might actually be cheaper to just replace the part altogether rather than going to a body shop and having them repaint it.

This is one of the reasons OE sells unpainted parts,, so an auto body shop can properly match.
Of course it also simplifies and reduces overhead too (which reduces our price too), by only having one part number and not dozens for each part.

 

i would call Toyota parts and ask if it is VIN specific just to be on the safe side.
