I installed the Kenwood XR600-6DSP Amp w/Maestro AR in my 2019 Toyota Tacoma to replace the factory JBL Amp, changed the speakers/sub too but what to keep the factory head unit for now.

Speakers, new speaker wire, amp/Maestro AR, and sub are all installed and I have sound.

    Amp specs -
    • 6-channel car amplifier with digital signal processing
      -75 watts RMS x 6 at 4 ohms
      -100 watts RMS x 6 at 2 ohms
-200 watts RMS x 3 bridged at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)
    • Selectable high- and low-pass filters (31-19,900 Hz) with selectable slopes (6, 12, 18, 24 dB/octave)

Front Speakers - Infinity Kappa 90csx, 6x9 in the doors, tweeters in the dash corners. Each side also has the crossover installed that came with the speakers. The driver side is on channel 1, passenger side is on channel 2.

Speaker specs - 2.5-ohm, 135 watts RMS, frequency response: 35-35,000 Hz, sensitivity: 94 dB at 2.83 volts.

Question - Since these are component speakers with a cross-over, are they considered full range in the speaker selection options? Other options in the drop-down are: tweeter, mid, mid hi, mid-bass

Rear Speakers - Infinity Kappa 63XF 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers, Rear driver side on channel 3, rear passenger side on channel 4.

Speaker specs - 3-ohm, 85 watts RMS, frequency response: 45-40,000 Hz, sensitivity: 93 dB at 2.83 volts.

Question - What should I select on the speaker selection option, full range?

    Sub - JL Audio 10W1v3-4 10” Bridged channels 5 & 6,

Specs - 4-ohm subwoofer, power range: 75-300 watts RMS, frequency response: 25-250 Hz, sensitivity: 84.2 dB.

Question - Would a 2ohm sub be a better option?

The main question is on the digital cross-over & EQ settings - Based on my speakers and setup, what settings would you recommend for each speaker on the cross-over and EQ? I've added pics of the app for context..

    Pic 1-Main screen
Pics 2 through 4 - 'type' options are: Off, Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass - Which should I select for each speaker, what should I set the high pass and low pass frequencies at for each, what about gain, slope, and phase too?
    Pic 5 - EQ...any suggestions?

Default starting point for all crossovers, deviate when necessary to overcome some issue you are having. Otherwise, these are going to do the job. Yes your door speakers are considered full range when using a passive crossover.

Fronts - High Pass 12dB/octave Linkwitz Riley @80Hz
Rears - High Pass 12dB/octave Linkwitz Riley @80Hz
Sub - Low Pass 12dB/octave Linkwitz Riley @80Hz

If your amp is stable at 4 Ohms in bridged then no, a 2 Ohm sub would not be better.

I am about to do a very similar install with the Kenwood XR-600 amp you have as well as speakers. In the front I ordered a set of component speakers with a passive crossover for the woofer/tweeter split.
It seems like some Tacomas have a pass through or a bridge at the dash speakers that feeds the signal to the door speakers. What did you find to be the case? My previous assumption is that I could run an output for each of the front speaker sets (L and R) and just wire up the crossover before plugging into the wiring harness adapter that plugs into the factory speaker wiring.

How did that go for you?
