How do you replace a burnt out bulb on a 3rd gen. I have successfully removed the cluster but have met resistance after removing the 3 screws and tabs,do not want to break the curcuit board.
The curcuit board still seems attached?

The third gen might be soldered in LED's.

Thanks for the pic. How is the curcuit board attached it looks like just 3 screws and taps. It lifts up all around the edge but not the middle do not want to force it.

I removed those annoying stickers on the sun visor.
I'm really curious, how'd you get the needles off the 3rd gen instrument cluster? They don't seem to pry off like on previous generations (though I didn't want to risk using too much force when I tried it).

Looks like these plastic pieces snap together, holding parts together.

What is pointed out are the motor mounts for the gauges. You can remove the motor mounts after you remove the four needles, but not necessary if you want to access the LED's.

Use equal upward pressure to remove the needles, it takes quite a bit of strength. My first time I used two spoons, after that just my hands. Do not apply unequal upward pressure or you might risk bending the shafts. The shafts are about 1.5-2.0MM in diameter, IIRC.

Interesting! I tried that, but was getting concerned with the amount of force I was using, so I stopped. I'll have to give it another go...

    Thanks!

Likewise, I was initially concerned also. That is why all the warnings. I’ve now had mine off half a dozen times. Getting them back in the right place is a bit of trial and error.
