    Hi everyone,

Sadly live in Ontario, Canada where we have to have a front plate (sucks)

Looking to relocate my plate, anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

    Thanks

    Yup. I went minimalist.

Drilled the plate to match the existing holes from factory mount.

It really requires a front bumper, obviously with winch mount so you run your front plate on a flipper.....

Agreed. I got a hidden winch to mount my plate on. Didn’t want to “fuck up the bumper” with a license plate bracket.

Same here but cops don't enforce it like they used to, I'm going on three years with no front plate. Cops don't seem to enforce window tint laws either nowadays.

I just use the oem stuff has caused me zero issues in 3+ years plus it gives me an extra inch or two if I get a bump from someone.

What I learned in defensive driving... If you are in an accident the license plate could fly through the cab and cut someone or something up.
I guess I got something out of that class besides getting a ticket dismissed!

I guess we better use cargo nets to strap every lose object down but fair point.

You could also just keep it in the crack of death and if you get pulled over or something just throw it in the window.

The factory mount looks perfectly clean and works. You already have it mounted there. What is the problem with it and the need for change?

Law enforcement is usually not very strict on plates, but I think that’s a poor reason to not run one. Not every cop is the same and I don’t want to give a single one of them an easy reason to pull me over.

Haven't had a front plate on any vehicle here in Wa. for over 20 years. Stopped once and got a verbal warning.

Where I'm from, cops specifically look for window tints and front plate violations just to pull you over. Or for that matter, any reason to pull you over.
