Hey and thanks in advance for any help. I have a 2019 Tacoma with a camper on it. My issue/ question is that the white lights for the bed on the 3rd brake light don’t turn on. I thought the whole light was just disconnected, but my son asked me why a red light turns on sometime. So the red brake works still, but the white light for the bed doesn’t work. I’m sure that it was done to keep an mirroring, reflection, or blinding issue from happening. I want to get it working because the camper light inside doesn’t work, and I figure the bed light would be nice to have. Does anyone know if there is a cable that usually gets cut when installing a camper shell. I had it looked at a dealership when I had other work done on it, and they said it had some relays installed and wouldn’t mess with it since its wasn’t a Toyota product. Thanks again for reading this far

    Oh look, another mod....

My 3rd Gen has this switch. It came with the factory bedlights. OP; this will also turn on the white lights that are on the 3rd brake light (when the door is opened or if you manually turn it on).

If the white light isn't coming on, check the bulbs. The may be burnt out?

Yeah mine has that switch, I’ll check the bulbs when I get a chance. For some reason I thought they were LEDs

Does anyone know the routing of the 3rd brake/cargo light harness inside the cab? As does it run down the rear passenger c pillar or out the center of the head liner? I’m adding a canopy and want to disconnect it without pulling the headliner.
This may be where op’s harness could be modified if it’s not the fuse or lamp

Hey thanks for the help. It was the fuse that had blown out. I now have light to see what I’m doing at night!
