3m tint has emblem on it?

Wouldn’t you think they don’t use this part of the roll? I’m not gonna take it back in or anything but it would be pretty cool if they just put it in the bottom corner. It would look like it’s supposed to be there not like someone forgot to cut it out. Just wondering if anyone else has this? There’s two one on back passenger one rear window passenger. Everything else it regular.

 

let the tint completely cure for 30 days, then use some 70% alcohol on a cotton ball and it will come off.

Exactly correct. Had my van 3m crystalline tinted and saw a logo left behind. Installer said he leaves one behind just to prove it’s 3m for the warranty (can be warrantied at any 3m tint dealer). He said if it bothered me just wipe it with alcohol to remove.

 

Yes. Mine still has a visible 3m on it if you know where to look.

 

yes. This is intentionally left behind so you know you received what you paid for. Thank the installer and ask him to wipe it off. No need to wait at all.

 

I was going to say it’s probably on the plastic backing, but if people are saying they have some in their tinted windows then that’s not right.

 

After tint it applied, it should come off with rubbing alcohol. My tints on my GTI were like that too and the lazy shop didn’t clean it off.

 

I have the 3m Ceramic on mine. The shop installed it and left a couple logos on there to show me it was actual 3m product during pickup. Once I said it was good, they removed the last few logos. It's just another way for installers to validate to customers they are installing the right product and not cheating you by installing an inferior/cheaper product. Easy to remove as others said.

 

I got the ceramic too I was thinking that’s why they did it I just never seen it before. Last time I got ceramic the guy had the boxes of film on the wall in the shop and pulled it out a bit to show me the tint. Did a perfect job. The current place had good reviews but the time we live in and the area Im in I knew I wasn’t getting perfect. There’s no bubbles anywhere even on the dots and the edges are really good. But I have a speck of dirt almost in the driver view of the windshield and a tiny crease on the bottom of driver window. It just ain’t worth the argument these days they’ll probably deny it anyway. But i didn’t notice them for two weeks so I can live with it. Customer is always the bad guy if they complain these days even though I paid 550.
