Hi all. Don’t post much but wanted to throw this up for information to share what worked for me. Call me old school but tire sizes in my day started with 2 digits haha j/k

Love the truck, love the forum!

    Couple notes:

Suspension is a HUGE improvement over stock.

Plenty of suspension travel left for everyday driving.

Drivability IMO is greatly improved and surprised at how well the motor handles the larger rolling diameter and weight of the tires. I don’t wheel a lot so no plans to re gear.

I throw a lot of cargo in the bed so wanted to have the rake to keep things balanced when it’s loaded down.

Haven’t fixed the speedo yet so not sure what the fuel mileage is now but will report back when I get that sorted out but I’m filling up about as much as I used to on 275’s

    Front Suspension:

OME 888 front coils (~2 inch)

Second gen Bilstein 5100’s set on second notch (~.85 inch)

SPC Light Racing UCA’s camber set all the way forward

    Rear suspension:

Wheelers 3 leaf progressive AAL (~1.5 inch)

    Toytech 1.5” blocks

    Bilstein 5125’s

    Wheels/tires:

    Stock limited 18x7.5’s ET+6mm

    1.25” spacers (ET -31.75mm)

    Total ET/Offset = -31.75 + 6 = -25.75mm

    BFG KO2’s 35x12.50r18

    Cab mount/ fending liner trimming:

Couple hours with the angle grinder and some rattle can to seal it up

That's a nice looking set up. The rim, tire, lift combo works well.

BTW, what kind of dog is that?

I could definitely see the Boston but wasn't sure what else he was mixed with. Ours is a Boston/Beagle.

Did you pound your pinch weld down? I’m running the same lift as you and getting some rub in reverse on the pinch weld. 285/70/17’s

Yeah a little bit of pounding. Also trial and error with the grinder until no more rubbing.

Truck looks slick. Have you had any issues with the 5100’s on the second notch with the OME 888’s? I don’t plan on running quite as big of a tire, but I am planning on running the same setup with the 5100’s in the front. Also, roughly how much lift did that equate to in the front? Any feedback/information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Thanks dude. Hub to fender was like 24" or so in the front and i think 24.5" in the back. No problems of any kind after 60k miles. Just actually picked up a 2019 and plan on doing the exact same suspension set up again.

What size tires/wheels you looking at doing?

Mine is a 2019 DCSB TRD OR, really like the truck. I ordered the 5100’s, 888’s, new UCA’s, heavy duty Dakar’s for the rear, and spidertrax 1.25” wheel spacers front and rear for it. I hope to be able to run 295/75R16’s on the stock OR wheels. I know the tire is a bit too wide per “spec” for the stock wheels, but I don’t really care about that. Once I get the lift installed I will see how much room I have.

I think you should be able to no problem. But you might have to do some minor trimming etc. but you should be good.

Also keep in mind that some major tire stores won’t install that wide of tire on the narrow stock rims so you might have to find a smaller shop to do it like I did.

    Another pro tip...
You can buy a tire from discount tire, have it mounted somewhere else, test fit, then return it if it doesn’t fit how you want it
