Was looking at the new BFG AT KO2's and saw 34x10.5x17 as a size they're running. Anyone have any thoughts on clearance issues? Current set up: 2006 DCLB, front is full OME with 886's, ARB and Warn M8000 winch. I clear 285's for days with level 8 guardians @ 4.5" BS. Just not sure if i want/can to go 295's and keep the width or go slightly taller and skinnier. Thoughts?

You can go 295s, not sure about 34x10.5 but I imagine it would fit if you clear 285s really well. The 34x10.5 is a 265/80. Be the guinea pig! If it were me id go taller instead of wider.

considering being the guinea pig...i dont see 295's being a problem, and being an inch narrower i feel like the 34's would work

I ran 295's on a f150, then switched to a 285/85/17. The 285 are the specs your looking for(34"). Both were nitto.

These new 34's are an actual 33.5 tall, then get the weight of the truck on them.. they will fit the same as a toyo 255/85/16 fits....

    34x10.5x17 are essentially 265/80/17

people use stock rims with the 255's on 3" of lift, i wonder if I could use 17" FJ Steelies with them or if I'd need a rim with some backspacing

OP did you get these tires? I like these tires just don't know about clearance and actually scared off by price more than anything

Do this! I ran the 34/10.5s and didn't like them. They mount up small (less than 33 on my truck). And they are skinny, and just look tiny. There are a few guys running them that like them. Check out Blue-something or other, or Mouse.
