I have a 2011 Toyota Tacoma with a 6 inch lift and I was wondering if I can run 22x14. I called over 3 shops and they are all telling me I can't run it and it is impossible but when I look on the custom offsets website people are running it with no rubbing or trimming. I was wondering if anyone is running 33x12.5 on 22x14 and if they rub or trim. THANKS

Shop liability trumps what’s possible. Buy wheels, get tires mounted, install them yourself.

I am not educated on insalling rims and tires so I will need a shop. I just wanted to see if it is possible without spacers.

6 bolts off. 6 bolts on.

    No.

I’d also suggest you’re not aware of the substantial wear and tear that will cause your truck or how to fix it, so this will be a financial worm hole above and beyond the cost of that wheel and tire combo.

Likely this is because of lability, my dealer will refuse to work on F150s on spacer lifts above 6 inches due to possibly being sued.
In reality you can do it. I think you can run even bigger wheels if you want, hell break out the sawzall and most anything is possible.

So, this is the look you’re going for? 12.50 wide tires on 14 wide wheels?

    Memphis or Hawaii?

Louisana. Yes I want the stretch look. But the shops are telling me it’s impossible to run it.

Not impossible, they just don't want to be responsible.

What others have said it's a liability thing. Tire manufacturers have listed a safe rim width for given size tires. A 12.5 wide tire would be maximum on a 11.5 or 12 wide wheel for safety reasons. If a shop deviates from this and an accident occurs from a failure then they could possibly be sued and held liable for any injuries and property damage. I've seen the stretched look tires debead going down the highway not a very safe thing to have happen.
