FYI Kenda Klever 33x10.50R17 tires on FJ OEM wheels fit a stock TRD with minimal effort.
I beat the pinch weld down, cut a bit off the bottom of the fenders, and put on some NAPA universal mudflaps. No rubbing anywhere at all. I had 35x10.50R17 Kendas on my old Tacoma, but it took a lot of work to get that extra 2". I have a set of Eibach coils and AAL in progress now to get some more load capacity and ride height.

    Curious why?
Other than you want and that’s a good reason.
Whats the benefits without some lift.

I have 2”lift with 265 70r17 kenda rts just shy of 50k miles on them. I’m planning on a lot of road trips soon. I didn’t buy the Tacoma for mpg but if I can help myself out a little bit why not
I’m looking to either kendas again in 33 10.5 or wildpeaks in 255 80r17
Was just trying to see what mpgs look like to help me decide

What has more clearance? A truck on 33's with no lift or a truck on 33's with a lift?

Tall and skinny helps. You may not have any rubbing on the road, but offroad in situations where you need a lot of wheel travel you're going to rub quite a bit.
