Want to upgrade to 33 inch tires, will be going with a 2.5 inch Bilstein 6112 lift. I have a steel front bumper and currently have 275/65/r18. is a cab mount chop necessary? I will only be doing mild offroading

I just went to a 285/70/17, and I already know the mud flaps have got to come off. Everything else seems to be rub-free, but I'll be doing a full wheel alignment, especially caster and camber, before removing anything. I'm running 6112s also, but only with 1.5 lift to level out the 5160a and Alcan 1"springs in the rear.

I can tell you with my current setup of Camburg UCAs, SCS wheels, 285/75/16 and a 2.5" lift you'll need to remove the mudflaps, CMC, pinch weld and buy a rotary tool :)

I only rub at a full stuff now or when cranking the wheel in reverse. If you get SPC UCAs you can offset some headaches if not most.

Cali Raised brackets and 32" behind the grill mounted light bar, Southern Style Offroad Lopro Stage II front bumper, Warn winch, FACTOR 55 Ultra Hook, FACTOR 55 Hawes Fairleed, full debadge, Cosmetic goodies such as 15% carbon tint, matte black in channel rain guards, interior LED's, Teton Workshop shift knob, Inferno vinyl detailing on the interior, Cali Raised multi rocker switch cubby insert with Mc Tuning LED switches and a few other mods I've probably left out.
As stated above you will most certainly need a CMC, pinch weld fold, and possibly some trimming of the wheelwell liners. I'm running -12 offset but I believe even guys running 0 or better offset still need a CMC and pinch weld fold

    33 is just a dia

The tire specs and wheel fitment matter. A lot.

You can run 33 on stock suspension with no rubbing with the right combo.

Just did the install this morning, and, so far the only chatter I get is from the mudflaps. I do not drive this truck much right now because I am still in the "build" stage, but a full suspension set-up is in the near future. I MIGHT go with the SPC UCAs just for the adjust-ability
