I’ve looked briefly for a thread about mounting a 32in light bar in the bumper. How hard is it to do?

Do you want it flush (cut out bumper opening) or recessed (dont cut)? Either way, brackets are made to bolt in.

@CaliRaisedLed can help you out. Visit their website or give him a pm on the forum (go to the home page and scroll down the list of vendors on the far left). Their lights are reasonably priced and pretty good. They also have bundles that include the bracket and plenty of pictures.

    :goingcrazy:

Brackets cost more than most cheap light bars.
Save your money for brackets you actually need for installing lights:facepalm:.. .like ditch light brackets or windshield brackets.
Honestly installing a 32" flush or recessed is stupid easy to diy. (Angle iron works well)
Google search tacomaworld.com how to install 32" lightbar in lower valence

Will 32” fit underneath or do I need a 30”? I don’t want to cut anything and want it stealth as possible

    my build tread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/socal-no-shame-poser-build.513084/
You will need a dremel to cut the plastic side fairings. Its really simple hardest part is once mounts are in placing the light in and screwing it to mounts with one hand in the tight spots. I had to walk away twice from frustration but everything else was simple

A few mods here and there and counting....
I just mounted a 32in Nilight light bar and flush brackets from Amazon in my bumper. I cut out the grill with a fresh razor blade(soft plastic). I was debating between the flush and stealth mount and ultimately went with the flush because to me it looks better cosmetically. The only con, the bracket mounting holes that bolts to the truck needed to be enlarged a bit with a step up bit. No biggie.

Just make brackets. Super easy. And mine can survive an apocalypse.

How thick was the light? I only have like 2 1/2” clearance to my supercharger cooler and I don’t want to flush mount it.
