I have pieced together the lift im going with for 3" wondering how silly it will look with the stock wheels and tires. Will be upgrading tires very soon. Should i just wait and put new tires on the same day i put the lift on? 17 OR

Easiest way would be just jack up your truck and see how the 3" on stock wheel and tire combo looks.

It looks better with 16s than 17s due to the extra side wall

I'd put on the right wheels and tires (full 33") and forget the lift.

And least until my adventures proved it was needed for function.

I don’t think it would look silly. I’ve always done lift first, let everything settle for a week or so, added tires/wheels, then an alignment.

It'll look pretty silly. Here's what mine looked like with 3 in lift with stock TRD OR tires/wheels. I took this right before swapping them for some 285s:

The sport has larger and more aggressive than stock tires on it. Sports come with a 265/65/17 and that guy is running a 265/70/17. Visually an inch larger.

Does it matter what it looks like? I still offload in mine with stock tires. Stock tires have limited resale, might as well use them up.

I mean if you don't like the look of the stock tires, might as well do it sooner than later. The less wear on them the more likely you'll be to sell them. Sold my tires for $350, which ain't too bad.

I just bought Off-road flares for my sport. I hope it doesn’t get this looks. No offense lol. Are those the stock 265 65 16s ?

Yeah those are stock 265/65/R16. No offense taken, if you look closely you'll see I took that picture at Discount right before swapping them out for some 33s

I'd just go ahead and put you lift on. Gives you time to see it without your new tires making your appreciation that much deeper when you get them.
