Ok folks I'm having some major fuel efficiency issues, I need suggestions cause this is getting rediculous.
    To answer the questions,
    09 TRD sport
I keep it under 2K on the tach
Minimal idling, just enough to bring the engine up to temp
I plug in the heater block at night,
    Leveling kit shocks upfront
    No oversized tires
    Stock wheels
Small winch on the front but had this for years fuel efficiency didn't really drop when installed
ARP air locker(not locked unless needed)
    No cover in the bed

I've tried resetting the ECU by leaving the negitive terminal off for a night, OEM spark plugs installed last year, new air filter.

I know some lost is expected in the winter, but I go from 300km ish per 68-70 liters to just over 220 gas light to gas light. It's only the last 3-4 years it's been getting this bad, It should not be this bad and Toyota was useless, dude at the counter told me that completely normal for our trucks. :/ I need some help here folks

Sorry to hear about our troubles....hoping this helps.
I would do some quick maintenance checks first #1 check / clean air filter (Completed) 2# clean MAF sensor (lots of videos available) 3# Check PSI of tires....Are you having any issues with brakes? Do you have a OBD scanner and if so did your rig through a code and or engine service light?
You can anticipate lower gas mileage with colder temperatures that we know for sure but not like this....
Good Luck and keep us posted on the results

I've checked the air pressure, I'll take a look at the MAF sensor this weekend.

How many miles on the truck? And any codes being thrown? Id start by cleaning MAF and throttle body

I have been thinking along similar lines. I have been getting around 12-13mpg. I have an 06 which sees mostly suburban driving. I have cleaned the MAF, throttle body, checked air pressures constantly. I have e rated tires and lifted 1.5", but got the same mpg before the lift.

Get a code reader that can read real time data and look at the LT and ST fuel trim values. Maybe it's running pig-rich because of erroneous readings from a sensor or failing cat.

Do you suffer from any power loss?

    Dragging brakes? Misadjusted parking brake?

When was the last time the rear diff oil was changed?

What exactly do you mean 'Bringing the engine up to temp'? That can use a lot of gas if you are in fact bringing the engine up to operating temperature each and every time.

Others have given you great tips. So I won't repeat them.

Keep us posted on what happens.

If you are running a block heater you have very little need to warm the vehicle up past 30 seconds or so. Cold start warm up's while idling will kill fuel economy numbers.

Ok so MAF and throttle body were cleaned. When was the spark plugs changed? Have you tried a bottle of injector cleaned?

So MAF was cleaned, looked what looked like a single strand of spider web on it so even if this doesn't fix the problem it needed to be done. This is totally subjective but the truck does feel smoother in acceleration, and in driving. I'll give an update once I've gone through a tank of gas or two.

It's -20 here today, even with the block heater I feel better letting it run for 5-8 min but this practice hasn't changed in ten years, how I treat the truck hasn't changed but my Fuel efficiency has...tanked .

And spark plugs were changed last year. And yes

Fuel leak? That means you are only able to travel 120km per tank. Check the underside of the fuel tank, if anyone has tried to drill a hole. Or would you have fellow sappers trying to pull a fast one on you by removing fuel?

Try fillin' up at a different station. I know here Winter gas sure does vary from brand to brand. Just a suggestion.

Been looking for one, no spots on the ground, even through a piece of cardboard under the rear end for two days checking it even couple hours, nothing that wasn't water.

Getting one this pay, part of my interior upgrades for this year

Diff fluid was changed about three years ago once when the diff lock was put in and again after about 3-4k, and probably gonna get done this summer.

It just had it's yearly inspection done, needed new front pads but no abnormal wear, rotors will probably be done spring time as they looked a little worn, but I couldn't get to it I had the shop look at the rear drums and I trust the guy that did it. I can't afford to have him spend hours trying to find the problem but when he's doing bits for me that I don't have the space or tools for his work has always clean and done right. I'll be doing the T4R brake up grade in the spring I wanted to do it earlier but winter hit and we'll I'm not sitting on my ass to do the front break upgrade in -20C. I spend enough time outside in it for work lol.

This has been an ongoing issue for about 2-3 years even my summer efficiency is below 400km per 65-70L. I'll keep you guys updated as I go through the ideas you guys are bring to me I really appreciate it. Several brains are better than one over taxed one lol

I hope this doesn't come out wrong. But are you working out your mileage by hand? ?

No I don't have enough fingers and no boots when it's that cold is really unpleasant ;)

Yes, I take how much fuel I put in and how many km in between fill ups decide the km by L of fuel. I've got a dry erase marker in my truck and write it on the top of the windshield completely outta the way and don't even see it but all I have to do is look and the last 3/4 data sets are there.
