2nd gen sunroof??

Ok so this morning I was in my Gf's Honda Fit, heading to Tim Horton's, and I saw a good looking AC superwhite Tacoma going through the parking of the store next to the one I was going. On my way back I rolled slower to look at it and saw that it has a sunroof!!

Is there an edition with a sunroof or is it completely custom?!?

 

Sounds like someone hacked the roof and stuck an aftermarket one in.

 

There are a few second gens sprinkled around with aftermarket sunroofs.

 

It is way less interesting if we have to cut and install it... Don't want water leaks

 

I have one in mine. Installed in Nov. 07. No issues, love it!

 

Who did the install? All by yourself?

 

@WVtriple had an aftermarket on his 2nd Gen that was real clean with NO LEAKS.

I like! I missed the one I had in my 1990! And I thought that an aftermarket one would not fully open and would not be electric... I think it is going on my wish list!

 

Looks nice can you give us a ball park on the cost?

 

It was installed by a local installer the dealerships use. If I remember correctly, it was around $1000.

 

Keep in mind that the 2000 or so dodge neon and some other models have a sunroof that goes outside of the cab instead of inside. makes install preferable to convert and use and parts are available and super cheap. VW golf units are also good ones
