    Hi,

Looking for these flashlight holders? Is there a part number or someone wanting to get rid of theirs?

Something made by Toyota? Or you have a flashlight you want to mount?

Many of the streamlight rechargeable flashlights clip into the charger base which can be mounted. Stinger and strion (my favorite). I use the led strion and protac hl usb at work, keep a blue microstream usb in the Tacoma, and use the strion led hp for dog walking and critter spotting. The microstream is bigger than a golf pencil, smaller than a maglight 2aa, puts out light like a maglight 2d.

In the rear cubby behind the driver’s side passenger storage, Toyota had a flashlight mount that was pressed in. Looking for a part number or someone selling theirs.

This is what mine says: 64247-AD010-A
(If you search that part number there are a couple on e-bay for about $25.)

My full size Mag rechargeable used to sit there, but it was pretty old school technology (dim, heavy, battery didn't hold much of a charge anymore).
Now there's a Pelican 8060 in its place.

I have the double plastic clips that came with my 3D cell Mag light about 25 years ago. I've been dragging them around that long. I recently mounted them to the bottom side of my driver seat, on the plastic cover. I also bought an LED bulb for that old light and it really brought it back to life. I'll see if I can post a picture later.

I have a led Maglite sitting in the holder in the back and I have a Surefire sitting in the center council. I can tell you I have not used the Maglite in 7 years and should probably check the batteries. I live in an area that only gets 5 hours of daylight right now so the Surefire gets a serious work out but is rechargeable and can swap batteries out.

Yes, you'd better check it. I can tell you I've bought my last package of Duracells. For high drain devices that get used a lot, they are great, but they've ruined too many of my flashlights, clocks, etc., due to leakage to ever buy another one.
I now use Energizers or the Energizer Ultimate Lithiums, especially in flashlights that I don't use often.
I've even had Duracells leak in the storage baggie I have them in, in a kitchen drawer. Those were batteries with a 2025 date on them.

After 20+ years living at 60 degrees 33 minutes N., I smile when I hear people complain about the darkness of winter at 49 N. Just wait six months... Like we used to tell people when they'd complain at the Harbormaster's Office that the gangway ramps were too steep, "We'll have that fixed in six hours." Mother Nature can be your best friend... Still going with the flow, high and low... Happy New Year! Happy Summer Solstice!

    Cracks me up.

I just got back from walking the dog at the beach, extremely low tide.

I wasn’t complaining. If anything I would say that because the Maglite is behind a seat I almost exclusively use the Sure Fire do to it’s easy excess ability and brightness.
