    Interesting as I've never cleaned an evaporator coil on any vehicle I've ever owned. Including my '96 Tacoma with 414,000 miles on it and it still blows so cold I hardly ever have to turn it to high.

    Pull the blower motor and squirt some cleaner in there back behind the coils. Assuming it's similar to a 3rd gen.
