The install was easy and wiring was really straight forward. However the website I ordered them from left off the 2 DRL converters so I can’t give a single opinion on actual light performance until I get them shipped to me. I uploaded some pictures of the install. Once I get them up and running I’ll come back and give an update.

Was there a thread or YouTube that you followed to get the headlights and grille off?

Not this time because I’ve swapped my headlights 3 separate times now. If you just look some 2nd gen headlight replacement videos most show the removal process step by step and what tools you will need. If you haven’t done it before don’t feel overwhelmed it’s pretty straight forward. I was nervous the first time but at this point it was second nature.

It’s is but I really like the styling and I’m tired of constantly having issues out of my HID’s and I know just from what I’ve seen so far they will be much brighter than my retrofits. Just depends on if it’s worth it to you or not. Just the quality of the manufacturing makes me feel good about them as of right now. Once I get the converters that got left out I’ll really be able to give my honest opinion. I spent my hard earned money to get them so I’ll be straight up on if I think they are worth it or not.

Unfortunately they are not a legitimate headlight and not a properly engineered headlight pattern. See the post below:

Alas, yet another Chinese headlight designed more for looks than actual performance is unmasked. Worse yet, many people will fall for the bogus marketing and waste their hard earned dollars for them. The upside? These same people will sell their better performing OEM headlights for pennies on the dollar to folks who actually understand headlight performance.

I understand you’re opinion on them and I’m not saying you are wrong I’m just not looking for the same thing in my headlights that you are.

I don't know about you, but I'm kind of looking to put the most usable light on the ground in front of me without ticking off oncoming drivers. Just my 2 cents.

When it comes to lighting I have plenty of it else where other than my headlights. For me I really like the styling and was tired of my retrofit HID’s giving me issue after issue. I didn’t want to go back to the factory lights however I am hanging on to mine so that in the future if I want to go in a different direction I can. My trucks not a long travel off-road beast it’s my daily driven pavement champion that when I have enough time off I get to sometimes drive off road and do some camping. The style of the lights get me excited to drive my truck around and they will preform better than my old headlights and that’s what I was looking for. I’m not needing to have such bright headlights that every time I turn them on I feel like a little kid burning things with a magnifying glass. Plus as I said before I’ll give a straight up review once I get the DRL converters in. I even stated originally that for me they were what I was looking for and that choice will depend on what you are personally looking for. Crashandburn80 I have read through you form posts and see what side of the fence you are judging them from and I understand it! But that’s not exactly what I’m looking for. Not looking to start and argument just letting you know haha. I’m not saying they are the perfectly engineered light throwing headlight upgrade champions of the world.

Plus I have multiple LED pod lights with flood and spot patterns so if I’m ever really needing some serious light output I’ll have it. Which for how I use my truck it’s always worked for me.
