I been looking to do 285/70r17 tires. Are the 295/70r17 tires worth it? little extra height and width.

The extra weight have any noticeable power loss?

3" lift (5100s, 2888, AAL) with UCA's and proper wheel specs clear the 33.31" tall, 11.77" width tires?

    Thanks

Noticeable power loss? Kind of. Def lost power but it almost never makes it to 5th-6th gears. Its slow getting started but it's running around 2600 rpm in 4th at 65 mph which is right in the power band. Feels peppier at speed.

Your lift should clear. I'm 2.5" OME lift with BBS uca's and have wheels with a -12 offset. I do rub the front of the fender liner during turns while in reverse. I do not rub anywhere in the back of the wheel well or while traveling forward.

To me it was worth it. Looks perfect on our trucks IMO.

How are you liking these tires? I think the 295s look perfect I think that’s what I’m going to go with.
