I'm planning on getting 285/75/16 kenda klever mts for my truck however my rim is 8 inches wide and the tires I found are 8.5 inches wide would this still work ? Or could someone send me a link to some tires that are 8 inches wide that are kenda mts . I drive a 2002 prerunner if that matters. Thanks

Look them up on TireRack and check the specs. It will tell the rim width range for that particular tire
