Anybody else see this size they're coming out with?? What a fantastic size - like a tall, skinny 34". The tire calculator puts it at 34.3" tall and only 10.8" wide.

    https://www.goodyear.com/en-US/tires/wrangler-mtr-kevlar/sizes-specs

They haven't released all the specs for it yet, just the fact it's D-rated and $300 per tire. I'd be very curious to know the weight.

I won't need tires for another year yet, but I'll definitely be considering these after a CMC and regear. Let me know if anybody sees these in the wild.

The usual questions. Will this rub without a CMC? Can I run stock rims? Will I need to regear?

1578B42D-E632-4E32-A3CD-AD7A808B68A4.jpg Little teaser, 3 outta 4 showed up today. Had two mounted up and bought them home to do my trimming. They are overnighting one more so hopefully it comes tomorrow. 17x8 Ray 10s,885’s, 1/2” top plate spacer both sides, Spc UCAS, CMC, pinch hamming and definitely some more trimming in the front.

That's awesome, man. Let us know about the trimming. I'm very curious since I have the stock front bumper as well.

I'm all for cutting fenders, but I have yet to see a good solution to replacing the liners yet. And I need fender liners.

Not sure what the going rate of 275/80/17 trimming templates go for:facepalm:

I took it hunting over the weekend and hit some water bars and had a little rubbing in the front still. Not terrible and not every time. I’m gonna snorkel and trim the front fenders soon. I’m way to the good for daily driving. I just don’t want the tires to clearance themselves and cause problems I can’t fix down the road.

Oh yeah, those look beastly! Let me know how the trimming goes - especially the front.

You just going to ditch the liners then? Unfortunately I need liners. No plan to snorkel - although I suppose I could do that cowl 'snorkel' mod.

These tires look awesome, but I'm still also considering the 285/75R17... not sure which size would give me more fitment issues.

I’m going the snorkel route. Should be here Friday. I mean the rub isn’t horrible at all in the front. It takes hitting Kelly humps or “water bars” or whatever you wanna call em at 10-15 mph to get the rub. Absolutely no rub in the front turning right to left under normal driving.

They are holding up fine. I’ve been waiting to get my bumper before I trim my front flares. I got it on last weekend. Lol give me a little more time and I’ll get some pics of the never ending project 1FD4C8E3-82BA-4E68-89D7-A4B2325AA860.jpg

Lol yes those, but not the tread pattern, I've owned/ran a set of these before... It's the unique size I'm interested in.

Looking good! Have you measured to actual height of these? I'd like to see photos when you clearance the fenders.
