275/70r16 without a lift?

I have a stock 2018 Tacoma and they come tires size 265/70r16 and wanted to upgrade to 275/70r16. Just wondering if they will to big of tire without a lift.

Just put a 275/70/17 on the truck today. Unless you plan on serious off-road, this width and general size is perfect in my opinion:

Pros:
-No CMC
-No rubbing on the wheel wells or anywhere under normal driving conditions and with correct fitting wheels.


(I heard one slight rub before alignment coming off a large curb, after aligning it hasn’t happened since.)

I think it looks great too. Just put it with a factory friendly rim size without a weird offset and you’ll be golden. I did have to take my mud flaps off!
