I have a like-new set of BFG AT 275/70 R16 mounted on my '96 Land Cruiser that I would really like to transfer to the '16 Tacoma TRDOR . . .

Yes I've searched and been to the tire size calculator . . .

But does anyone have a real-world answer for me? Thanks.

I'd think so, you're just mounting them on the stock TRD OR rims? I think it is really not much different than a 265/70/17 which many people are running with no issues.

I highly doubt you'll get anyone on here who has ran that size, since it's kind of an odd one. The diameter isn't the issue, but you run the risk of rubbing the UCAs (upper control arms) with the tires, if mounted on stock wheels. They just don't stick out far enough. If you try it and it does rub, you can get a set of wheel spacers to alleviate the rubbing.

Yes, it'll work. I was looking into that size myself.

No doubt in my mind that it will work, but a very uncommon size for sure.

    How old are the tires?

They are likely going to rub the cab mount
