Just go with 265/70/17. Little taller and not as wide. Wide usually means rubbing. So can tall, but less likely. Plus choke guys run 265/70s stock height

I’m running 265/70/17 Wildpeaks on stock suspension and they barely rub the mud flaps. I trimmed them and it’s fine. 275’s would be a problem.

Did you have to remold the fender liners or dremel out any plastic? I’m running 265/70/17, but have been interested in this slightly larger size.

All the usual diesel truck mods- fuel system upgrade, programmer, CAI, intake manifold, 60MM stealth turbo
Something to keep in mind even if you’re lifted or not, if it’s going to rub it’ll rub. Lifts only account for the static ride height but as soon as the suspension starts cycling it’ll be in the range of stock height at some point in time. As stated above narrower tires will be less likely to rub but the bigger factor is wheel offset.

Hi guys, I know this is my first post. I will make a new guy thread soon.

I wanted to weigh in on this/ask about this. This is for a TRD sport, stock suspension.

I know offset will play a major factor in this aswell but so far it hasn't really been discussed on this thread.
    Stock wheels/tires are 265/65/17 with a 7.5" rim and +30 offset.
Is anyone able to tell me if 275/65/17 will fit "if" the wheels are a 8.5" rim +15 offset. These are knock off 4runner trd pro wheels I've found up in Canada.
Theoretically this will give me 2mm more room to the strut, and stick the tire out 28mm more than stock.
The tire will be 31.1" instead of 30.6" tall. Width will go from 10.4" to 10.8".

Basically what I want to know is if anyone knows if this offset change is enough to stop any rubbing.
