I have searched through the forum and have not been able to find anyone with this combo (275/60R20) (33.1x10.8R20) wondering if it would be able to fit without CMC my 17' is strictly for on road use "street queen" for now as I have another Tacoma for off-roading. I will be installing a 3" kit prior to wheels and tires.

You're gonna need wheels with 4.5" backspacing and you might need a cmc. Probably would lean more to say you will need one. Best way to know is put them on and see, a cmc isn't a big deal

I don't mind doing the CMC I have it done on my 2012 to fit the 315's but was just trying to stay away from cutting up the brand new truck, I test fitted 285/75r16 (which are the same height mounted and more wide) on the stock TRD wheels and had no rubbing for just everyday driving after removing mud flaps unless at full lock in reverse but I know 20"s are a whole new game

It's the overall size that's gonna be important in the long run, it'll probably fit. Might need to get out a heat gun though

Yeah I know not gonna be much love for the 20"s but I have a tacoma with 35's on 16's for off-road just found a really great deal on them actually cheaper than the 285/75r16's but technically we are the "ricer" of the truck world

No that's the Ridgeline and frontier.

Um Tacoma's are THE standard for main stream consumer off road trucks... Hardly the ricers of the truck world. Why do you think the ZR2 was just rolled out? To try and cut into Toyota's pie. Same with the new ridgeline (which hardly qualifies for a truck other then it has a bed)

Welcome. I've been meaning to say that the rim size you want is extremely terrible to me, and I disapprove. Congratulations on the awesome price and back up vehicle with credible wheels.

I understand that everyone has their own taste and I expected disapproval on the rim size from most I was just seeing if anyone out there had them as I have seen several with 6 inch db lifts with 20" plus rims

Yeah not even close, since 275/60r20 is pretty much the standard size for most full size and heavy duty trucks I don't think it would quite fit on there. My dads new 17' F250 has the 275/60r20, I guess some users are not quite mature enough to accept different build taste, but instead prefer to use their time trolling on the internet thanks though !

That's the size on my dad's truck too. It doesn't look bad but definitely could have setbacks off-road, of course that's what your other taco would be for. Funny you're going bigger tires, a lot of guys with street trucks lower them and get smaller tires. Personally I don't like that look but I won't judge

I just like the lifted/leveled look, I'm almost 6'5" so a lowered truck would kinda be rough on me. I looked at 285/70r17 earlier but the 20 inch combo is still 300$ cheaper and the weight was surprisingly lighter with 20s

Not hating on a build taste, but this is a mid sized truck, you might need more than 3 inches
    Maybe its a southern thing

Going higher doesn't bother me that's why I started the thread just wanted to get an idea worst case scenario they don't fit and I just drop down to 285/70r17, I also have a Tacoma with a 6 inch lift and it does great off-road down here but all I have is mud around me no cool trails like out west

    Too much to list!
I am sure you have parked next to the F250, it's a really huge truck. That's why 20" fit on them. I cannot say a 20" rim would be a good fit on a Tacoma.
