Just got a set of 265/75/r16 Falken Wildpeak At3ws!! I have them wrapped around matte black method race wheels. And I have to say These things are impressive. The tread is actually really deep for being an all terrain and the side walls are very aggressive. One thing though is the shop I got them balanced at had a hard time with getting them weighted right so they had to put a bag of Equal in each tire, which isn't a bad thing just costs more when each bag is $15 and I had to buy 4 of them. I bought these because the reviews were outstanding and so was the price! They ran me about $135 each, which compared to the bfg ko2s or good year duratracs is substantially cheaper. The tread life of these tires also was a factor in deciding. Falken says these have a range of 55k. Also according to review these tires are exelent in snow, which living on the eastern side of PA will help in the winter months. I will write an updated review on these after I have the chance to drive on them for a while. But for now they have really impressed me. If anyone is running these tires please let me know what you think after use on and off road!

Did the bag work to balance them?

Yes, I believed they did. I don't feel any vibes from being unbalanced, thankfully.

Not the most aggressive looking but I have 60k miles on them and a lot of tread left. I didnt even really take great care of them.

Im torn between these and duratracs. I was looking at a 265/75/16 or 285 in either. the more I see these I am leaning toward them.

That's the same situation I was in. For me since i daily drive it, little off roading here and there, and my suspension isn't anything crazy yet, I went with the 265s. Eventually I'll probably go to a 33 or 35 but for right now with what I do with the truck an agressive 265 was the better option.

Talking to a shop about the Method 301 Standards with the Falken 265 set up and he mentioned I can't get 16s because they rub the caliper... any truth to that?

Mine are very close. But no rubbing on the caliper. You’d be totally fine with running that set up. (On stock calipers of course)

They make lighter load in that size. They are 11 lbs lighter but only have 14/32” tread depth. That’s why I asked. I was wondering if the lighter ones were a slightly less aggressive design. Yours look great so I was hoping not.

Never mind. I was asking the OP. I don't know what size you run.

I went with the standard weight Pmetric. I didn’t think it would be worth getting the heavier rated ones due to the fact I don’t tow and I’d like to get better mpg
