Do you like briefs or boxers? Tires are completely subjective.

Both sizes will fit your truck, it really comes down to your preference and off roading style. That said, I’m on my 3rd set of S/T Maxx.

The 265 KO2's. I like a wider tire. Makes your truck look stockier. Then send me the $250 you save. :D

Currently running the 265 KO2 on my 05. Had to pull it out of the pasture with my 2020 with XMTs. K02 excellent highway and dry trail tire. K02 is a fair to poor mud tire. Had the ST Maxx a few years back and loved them for everything except the highway during long trips. Too noisy and didn't last as long as my KO2s have. Oh yeah running Achilles Desert Hawk XMTs on my 2020. So far so good but they don't come in a 255/85 or I'd recommend them. Quietest mud tire I have ever ran. Tread wear wise they only have 3000 miles on them and are wear like the ST Maxx. Maybe get 30k or 35k.

Had KO2's didn't like them in the snow. Had the Cooper MAXX and loved them. But the Cooper Pro's are my favorite and are amazing in the snow.

Yeah I know! That extra inch or so make the truck look nice and tall  The guys at the 4 wheeling shop near me like the KO2s but nobody there really has any personal experience with the Coopers, only word of mouth. My guy says that some have issues with the coopers driving straight and say that they sometimes pull one way or the other? I dunno. Anyone hear of this before? Should I worry? He also thinks I’ll get more miles out of the KO2

I don't have any personal experience with the Cooper's but the ski resort i work for exclusively uses the cooper tires for their Ford F350 diesel trucks that run up and down very steep rough rocky roads all day everyday. The maintenance garage manager absolutely loves them.

I do need something that does good in snow! Im in the mountains and drive on snow probably half of the year.

I know WTF! when i first started shopping for them 4-5 weeks ago they were $250, now they are $263!

coopers are $1230 installed for 4 tires, $980 for the KO2

I prefer the KO2's in a 8 ply or 10 ply since these have three ply sidewalls and are considerably thicker sidewalls, good for dirt roads with sharp rocks, Way less chance of a flat due to sidewall being punctured. Load range B tires are like butter on sidewalls for penetration.

I live in a very hilly area, and since putting these on, I didn't even need to put it in 4WD to get up them.

Like I mentioned above on my 3rd set of S/T Maxx, just bought a set the other day to put on the taco. I ran the other 2 sets on my 80 series Land Cruiser in 37’s. Never had any issues with sand, mud, snow or ice. Doing a 5 tire rotation I was getting 70k per set.

For the taco I went 265/75 since I want to be able to run the OEM mud flaps for the Midwest winters.
