mud flaps. looking right at em. your noise is in the rear?

wait i missed the second pic. it looks like you have a bent or torn tab. i had one and snipped it off.

do you have alignment specs by chance? your caster looks low.

Mud flaps are off. That’s the plastic on the inner wheel well in the front. There’s also rubbing on body mount on both sides. I figured 275s would’ve fit with the lift but 265s can’t even cut it.

I had it aligned by the guys I’ve always taken my cars too, and they didn’t see too sure of themselves when I picked the truck up today. I’m pretty new to this whole thing. Should I try another place out?

It's your allignment my friend. 265/70/17 here with lift and mud flaps and no rubbing. I have room for 285s but not interested in the issues with them. I have them on both mine and my son's truck, same set up,same everything but he is on the 5th perch as I'm on the 4th. You should have plenty of room.IMG_20200410_164208888.jpg IMG_20200126_172548186.jpg

yes, definitely seek out a Toyota specialist that does trucks, there's local forums here so start there to get a recommendation if you want one.

it looks like your caster is low. you need UCAs which you do have, and that will allow them to add caster above stock numbers. go for 3-4 degrees. that will move your front tires forward away from the rear of the well enough to kill the rubbing and improve driveability a bit.

Thanks a ton for the help guys. I installed the lift myself, so I was concerned that might’ve been an issue... With proper alignment I should be able to fit 275s huh?

I think so, maybe some heat gun work on the inner fender liners. I have seen these same wheels and 285s keep the mud flaps.

I have 255/85r16's on my 2020 and I have plenty of clearance. Something seems wrong. Alignment maybe? How much clearance is on the other side of the wheel well?

Sounds good. The shop told me the 275s they put on at first wouldn’t fit because my wheels were too narrow and making them “balloon out”.

I don't know about 275's, but you said 265/70r17 in your post and I've not heard of any fitment issues with that size.

My guess is that a realignment that favors the wheel more forward might help. I've never had to mess with it though. My shop only had to change my toe after I lifted. The camber and caster were OK as I left things. I have SPC UCAs and installed them in the suggested neutral position.

Op, your original post says 265. So is it 265 or 275? with 275, you may need to trim your cab mount (CMC). As for it rubbing the wheel well liner, I think that is an alignment issue.
Have the shop get the caster to around 3.5 or higher.
Check fitment then may need to trim cab mount if it continues to rub the cab.

When they set the caster to 3.5 or higher, it will be in the red. It won't be green. At least to the shops that I have been to before settling to one.

265 is on there now, and that’s still rubbing the body mount and wheel well liner. The shop tried 275 originally and said there was no shot. I’ll call around and see if anyone knows how to adjust my kind of UCA.

From my understanding, Camburg UCA is not adjustable. So you don't need a special shop to get those aligned. What you need to do is tell the shop what alignment you want to be done or else they will go to the factory spec range.

ahhhhh ok well I suppose that would help. Again, completely new to this whole thing, so I may sound clueless.. Just tell them I want caster between 3-4 and that should handle it?
