    Hi all,

I have a 2022 SR 4x4 Double Cab SB with the stock 245/75R16 tires on the OEM styled steel wheels (42601AD040). I was hoping to put some General Grabber ATX tires on the truck because I have had really good luck with them on my precious truck (2003 F150), but they don't make them in the 245/75R16 size. They do make them in the 265/70R16 size, but I have some concern about the wheel offset of the steel wheels vs the other OEM alloy wheels. All the alloy wheels that the 265/70R16 tires usually come on from the factory have a 25mm offset and the styled steel wheels have a 139.7mm offset.

Has anyone put 265/70R16 tires on the OEM steel wheels on a stock truck before? Is the different offset of the steel wheels going to cause any rubbing with the 265/70R16 tires?

Where the hell did you come up with 139.7mm?

139.7mm is the lug bolt circle diameter, also measures 5.5 inches. You will have no trouble with 265/70r16 tires on your truck.

I ran those before I upgraded wheels. They fit perfect, no issues. It'll give the truck a slightly beefier look too.

Not sure what the offset is on the steelies (it’s not going to be wildly different than the 25mm that most stock tacoma wheels have), but like others have said, 139.7mm is the bolt pattern (which is what all Toyota 6 lugs are). You should be fine to run 265s on pretty much any OEM spec wheel.

    Thanks for the help!
I got the 139.7mm from a few listings of the wheels online. They must have had the bolt pattern and wheel offset mixed up.

I am pretty sure the steel wheels are 30 mm offset.

Hey man, just curious if it worked out for you running 265's on the stock tacoma steel wheels. I'm looking to run 265/70r16 on my stock steel wheels (currently have 245/75r16 tires on them).
