I have 265/70/R16's on my truck, but they're not BFG AT KO2's; they are TOYO OPEN COUNTRY A/T's

Nice, and you're able to keep the front flaps without rub?

I have BFG KO2’s LT265/75R16. They rub the frame ONLY because I have 3rd Gen wheels with less backspacing than 1st Gen wheels.

Nice to see how they fill up the wheel well with the stock tire and larger tread.

Prefer to keep stock height, stock tire size, and mud flaps for now. Was amusing they fit fine but never know for sure with the larger tread and all.
Mainly haven't seen many 265/70/R16 A/T or M/T tires on these trucks before (mostly 265/75/r16) and wanted to get a feel for em!

The stock 1st gen SR5 wheels will rub the frame, too.

They don't rub any more, at least at ride height. They might still rub a bit in compression and full lock, but I haven't encountered any rub since I put the kings and TC UCA's on.

At stock height you should be fine with the 265/70s, even mud terrains. Even with my 265/75r16 KOs, while they did rub, it was only at full lock.

Same here. I only rubbed at full lock when parking or turning hard.

You said that you rub "ONLY" because you had those turd gen wheels, I'm saying that you'd rub with the stock 1st gen wheels (more back spacing), too.

Yeah, didn’t think about that. I guess the less backspacing contributes to it too.

The solution is to just stop pussing out with these not even 32" tires and get yourself some 255/85 KM2s. Those shouldn't rub the frame.

But the smaller backspacing definitely doesn't help.

Just stack 4 or 5 wheel spacers in there, you'll be good.
