I emailed BFG and they told me 50 psi for my 4Runner. That seemed a little stiff for me so I am running 40 psi and I am happy with the ride. I have the exact same wheels but grey and the same exact tires.

You'll want around 34 front and 32 rear. If you want to know exactly how much pressure you should run, google the chalk test.

I ran 38 up front 35 in the rear. 30k miles and they still have 9 to 10 32nds on all four

Love the white letters facing out!

35 PSI cold is a good starting point for your application.

Thanks for the replies. The tire installer put 40psi of nitrogen in and I didn't dig the ride all that much. But I lowered it to 35psi and its much better so far I'll work down from there and see how it goes.

Just keep in mind the lower you go, the better the ride will be, and the worse your MPG will get from the increased rolling resistance.

My installer for this exact tire size insisted on 50psi even though my chalk test suggested 35psi. Why would a tire pro want that much pressure in a tire like this? Any idea?

Probably don't know any better. Not many small trucks like ours run a Load E.

Good point but I have Load C. Also, max tire pressure is stamped 50psi on the Load C version of this tire.

My TPMS light just started flashing last night so I have to bring it in tonight and I'll get the chance to ask them myself why they are inflating the tire to max pressure.

Oh yeah, missed that part. I'd deflate to 35 psi, reset your TPMS light by holding down the button beneath the steering wheel, and see if that solves your issue. Unless you're going to the shop for something else, and just getting the tires checked while you're already there.

Thanks for the tip and that is kind of what I did. When I left the shop last week I deflated to 35 like my last KO2's. However, I didn't hit the reset button. Now, a week later, that was my first thought when I saw the light. I thought maybe the truck was thinking 50 as a baseline so 35 was too low. So I aired up to 50 and no luck.

And that's why I'm taking it in tonight - light is flashing and not staying on permanent. From what I've read on here a flashing light means a broken sensor or the truck lost communication with a sensor. Both of which need them to fix it. Then I'll ask them why the 50psi and have them use 35psi as a baseline instead. We'll see...

Good point about the flashing light. I hope you get it all worked out!

    Nice mod!

Question: Are you running on stock suspensions? Thinking about getting this setup but would prefer not to lift since i dont do much 4x4 only dirt roads when i go climb/camping.

    Thanks!

I want to run this exact set up on my 2019 SR5 2WD, but I'm not sure that they'll fit/rub.

    Looks terrific!
