OK. so I assume that is caused by the diameter of the tires and not the width. I'm also doing a lift. not sure it will make a difference....
Maybe I need to find a different size as I am not interested in cutting the cab mount

The tire is a contributing factor, but the wheel specs often play a larger role. With Ray 10s, I’d expect some contact somewhere.

So no matter what size tires I put on the Ray10s are going to cause an issue? If thats the case I'm disappointed I bought them - I had assumed they were supposed to work for our trucks

I didn’t say they wouldn’t work. Just said you’ll likely have some contact somewhere.

You’re talking about putting a 33” tire mounted on an 8.5” wide wheel that has -10mm offset on a mid size pickup. Things may not work out just as Toyota designed it is all I’m saying.

I have the exact wheel tire setup on an ICON stage 4 lift, needed the CMC done.

I lifted my 3rd gen 2.5” and just put on the ray 10’s with stmaxx 255/80 17. Only very slight rub on mud flap at full turn on incline or over bump. No cmc. Did a lot of research here and found many others with little or no rub so went for it.
Also got UCAs, I think this is a big factor in moving wheels to maximize the space?

Here’s the rub , I’m pretty sure removing mud flap will eliminate it but if not I’ll dremel out some more plastic. I’ll let you know. Love these wheels and skinny tires!

@TetonBuck do you have UCAs? I think they can be used to push the wheel forward (caster) so you wouldn't rub.

Yes I bought Light Racing UCAs and the shop set caster to 3 which is slightly out of range but shouldn’t effect tire wear. Removed front mud flaps yesterday and no more rubbing!

I wonder if your wheels offset has anything to do with the rubbing? I'm trying to do the same setup as you with TRD Sema Pro wheels.

So the TRD Pro Sema should be ok right? They're 17x7 +4 offset.
