Hi guys, this is my first 1st gen tacoma. I need help deciding on a tire size on this 2000 tacoma. I am mainly in it for mpg not so much looks so i was thinking 225 75 15 firestone at, but was concerned that they will look crazy small. Any of you guys run this tire and have any opinions it would help greatly. If it wouldn't effect mpg much can you also recommend another tire size?

They're at or around OEM tires size, and big enough to look decent on the truck too.

31x10.5 R15 would be okay size wise and meet both your requirements. This is what is on the wife's Taco right now with no complaints.

17's not bad. I think I'm just gonna stay around the stock size to keep good mpg. I checked and it i go with 235 75 15 i have many more options for tires vs 225 75 15. So i think ill go with that, ill just have to roll on small tires for a while lol.
