Are 20x9 +27 offset snowflakes wrapped in 285/55r20 feasible with a 3" spacer lift? and does anybody have pictures with snowflakes on their 1st gen?

    Whats the backspacing?

    What are snowflakes?

285/55/20 is almost half an inch smaller then 285/75/16 which is a very common size for trucks that wheel. 20's are a little big for getting a good amount of sidewall.

That’s going to look hideous. Anything bigger than a 17 on a 1st gen Tacoma looks hideous. Pls don’t do it.

Also, +27 is not backspacing as far as I’m aware

I think he's using 27 as offset. 2 different things.

+27 mm offset on a 9" wide wheel works out to just over 5.5" backspacing. There is a good chance that those tires will rub on the frame pretty bad at full lock steering - you'll need 1" or more wheels spacers to prevent that.

Other than that they should fit fine with just a little trimming of mudflaps, plastic fender liners, etc. No different than any other 32"-33" tire.

My thoughts exactly. I thought someone wanted to put old VW wheels on a taco.
