Still reviewing the Tacoma TRD Sport but read the TRD Pro is 75 inches wide, but then you have to add 3 more inches due to flared out wheel wells. That bumps the width up to 78 inches. Good luck getting that mid-size truck into your two car garage.

Anyone know if TRD Sport is still maintaining its 75 inch width since (I believe) wheel wells do not extend (on this trim) as far out as the TRD Pro?

From what I read vehicle width should be one side of vehicle to the other side excluding mirrors. So hopefully on the "Sport TRD" Toyota is measuring one side wheel well to the other side wheel well. And not say door outer panel to other side door panel.

All depends on the garage…I see no problem here.

For a 2 car garage, girth isn't an issue. Just the length.

It is if you only have 191 inch opening like I have. Once past side pillars garage opens up to 20' in width. Wife drives a Mazda 6 at 72 inches width.

Thinking I'll have 26 to 29 inches in between Mazda and Tacoma (if purchased). Tight, maybe to tight.

I think your numbers are low.

My '13 5 lug is wider than that.

EDIT: mine is 43 between wheel wells, 53 bed opening, 55 tailgate, ~67 body, plus some mirror. No flares.

    You need better numbers

In the video's they say the length is the same, and the width with the doors fully open also remains the same.

The only true measure of whether the truck will be too wide or not, is if it will still fit through the squeeze on Elephant Hill. If it doesn't, it's dead to me.
