2024 TRD Sport Bronze Oxide

Picked up my new taco a few weeks ago. Ordered sight unseen, which is a first for me - I haven’t had a brand new vehicle since the 90’s!

500 miles later, I’m loving it so far. Super happy with the color and still learning all of the new features as my last Taco was a 2008.

Looking forward to getting new tires & wheels, but looking for some advice there. Thoughts?

That color is awesome! Enjoy it! I know most people don’t like them but the steps look sharp!

 

I like that color, looks sharp. I don't hate the stock wheels, but something in a dark bronze might look good with that color.

 

Yeah, the wheels are decent for sure, but not my favorite. Will probably stick with them for a while and see if they grow on me. Love the idea of a dark bronze wheel.

With a 2.5” lift, what size wheels? All terrains? I’m a fan of the TA KO2s, but not sure just yet. Off road or sport tires?

congrats on the truck. Check out falcon wild peaks ATs when the time comes. I’ve been a die hard TA KO Fan for many years, but made the switch with my last tire purchase. Love the wild peaks. So much better on-road performance.

I also ordered sight unseen. I wanted the Sport with the additional premium package. Loving it.

 

Loving it so far & no real issues. I had the 14” display not power up once… but haven’t seen that again. Love the smooth ride and the power when moving. The interior is great for me and so many features. I did get the Carista Evo OBD2 tool and turned off engine enhancement and changed some other settings.

The negatives: off-the-line power is not great. I’ve tried to shoot a gap from a stop light and… nothing. No power! Would love to try the hybrid for this. Cab size is just sad, mainly the rear seat. Last negative is that there aren’t too many accessory options yet. Just waiting for more.

Overall, I love the truck. Once I get a locking tonneau cover, maybe the interior size won’t be an issue.

 

Glad you’re loving it. I LOVE the Sport hood, now I want a few off-road things like black fender flairs, off-road tires, maybe a lift… or at least a leveling lift.
