Does the Matte Black texture match the texture of the fender flares on the TRD Offroad?

Trivial, I know, but you have 3 different black options.

Valid questions and not trivial at all! We can never guarantee an exact color match it should still be pretty close. To get a definitive answer, we would have to get another TRD Offroad to test on and match. If you want to see the match for yourselves, what we could do is send you a "test piece" so you could hold it up to your trucks and see if the Matte Black matches to your liking. In terms of the pictures, it is a valid point that more pictures with different angles and lighting would be useful to have on the product page. My name's James, the new Marketing Technician at Ecoological, and will definitely be more on-site taking photos in our beta and final-fit testing stages to capture high-quality images for y'all!

 

definitely interested in this. would also love to see a hood bug deflector to compliment the tailgate cover as well.

do the fender overlays fit only the sr5 model flares or the sport/offroad/limited aswell?

agree with more detailed pictures showing the differences between finishes, ie: matte black vs textured tpo

 

Right now, the overlays will only fit the sr5, good question! In order to test/resize the applique for the sport/offroad/limited would take a lot of trucks, funds and time, but I'll mention this to our manufacturing and production team to see what they can do.

We do have a Grille Overlay coming soon for the 2024+ Tacoma I think you'd be interested in if you wanted a Hood Bug Deflector. I'll also mention this to our manufacturing team to pinpoint how this could potentially be designed and the potential benefits this part could bring. Thank you for the feedback on the photos! This is something I would like to be more hands-on with, especially coming from a product-photography background.

 

The spoiler looks like it has a handle - hard to tell from the picture. If this is the case and it's using 3m tape for install then it may pull right off, over time.

 

The spoiler doesn't have a handle, it's just an effect that goes with the styling of the applique, so there should be no issues at all with the part falling off at all!

 

Cool idea, but those product photos are awful. I’m sure people might buy it if they could actually see it better.

 

Glad you like the idea, we do too! In regards to the pictures, I have brought this up with my team and I will be on-site during final-fitting stages for product photos.

Just to give you a peek into our design process: when we rent a truck or get beta testers to test our parts, we have a very finite window to fit and refine our products on the truck. Sometimes, we run out of time for photos because we would rather ensure the part is perfect then ensure photos are taken from all angles. Now that we have more members of our team, I think we can make a larger-scale photoshoot possible for site photos.

 

You could try sending a couple units to members here for us to review and we will post the photos so your team doesn't have to.
