    Hi!

I took delivery of my new 2024 Tacoma Off Road last Tuesday and I love it! I am considering getting black lettering for the tailgate, the colour of the truck is underground. I can get it from the dealership for about $130 Canadian. There are several sets on Amazon for about $30. I want the black matt plastic letters NOT decals. I don’t know if the product from the dealership are decals or actual plastic letters, I haven’t checked there yet. I saw here that one review on an Amazon product was listed for the 2024 but it didn’t fit the 2024. Just wondering if anyone has purchased a set from Amazon that actually fit their 2024 model. If so can you please give me the product number so I can maybe place an order? Thanks! Joe.

the oem stuff is letters not decals.

if its any concern, i have used tvd vinyl decals on our 2016 tacoma, 2018 tundra, and now 2023 tundra and have not had one issue with them even thru our -20F temps in ND. they never peeled once on any toyota we put them on.

i know they are vinyl decals but i have been a loyal fan of his stuff for years and not once was i disappointed with his decals.

edit: the only difference with letters is that if you wax or anything, getting that wax out of the creases on the letters is a pita compared to the decals.
