I like the Colorado interior the least.

A stupid nit picky thing for me is cup holder placement in the center console. I should be able to have a 20oz drink in a cup holder and reach all console buttons and shifter without interference. The Ranger does that design the best. I don't like the cup holders side by side like in the Tacoma and Colorado. I could see that being an annoyance.

As truck fans, this could be a golden age. Brand new trucks from the heavy hitters all in one year. Heated competition making them all better. Looking forward to some teat drives!

I love the looks of the new Colorado, but man that Ranger is hard to look at.

The Sport looks way better than the Pro. I don't what it is about the Pro, it's not ugly but I don't really care for how it looks. I don't like the storm trooper look, 2nd and 3rd gens don't look bad in black and white but the 4G Pro doesn't look right to me. Maybe in a different color and some different wheels. The Trail Hunter looks good, and it really isn't much different other than color and it's a long bed.

Extra Cab wins this competition hands down Ford and Chevy don't offer an extended cab.

I like the Ranger Raptor, but that's it from the new Ranger. The front end does look good with the boxy fenders, I don't think it flows with the carry over cab design. Redesign the cab along with the entire truck to mimic the Bronco and I think that would be a winner if it had a two door 6'ft bed configuration. The front 1/4 of the truck shows what could have. Ford does win out in the drivetrain dept with the 2.7 ecoboost and 10spd. The Raptor get the 3.0 eb, even with the carry over cab somehow the Raptor still looks good. The large screen has me not liking the interior at all.

GM I don't really care for it. Exterior styling is nice, the interior isn't too obnoxious for my taste, power plant puts out decent numbers. AT4 and ZR2 are appealing. I like the Trail Boss, and the lower trim trucks look like a decent do it all truck if they can last. I'd definitely consider a short bed regular cab with the same engine. I consider ordering a Sierra RC, even a 4dr GM 1/2 ton over the midsize.

No Frontier in this test but that would be number two on my list, becsuse Nissan offers the King Cab, and the NA V6 might win out over a t4.

The only thing that would change all of this would be real world purchasing condition, and my experience is buying a new Toyota is masochistic at best, that wasn't the case when I purchased my 2012 Tacoma.
