There are a butt load of settings that are changed on it. Not sure how an aftermarket radio would allow you to continue to make those changes.

The price of the audio upgrade is insanely good IMO. Most aftermarket systems of that size are going to be close to, if not more expensive plus install costs if you lack the DIY skills.

That's where I am right now. All my previous vehicles have been lower trim and I spent time and effort making them better. At this point I kinda just want to spend a little more and have most the work done out the door. I'm pretty set on the off road with audio and heated seats and I'll be happy. If I can't find what I like I'll just wait; hybrid with no fluff and lower interest rates seems better than fighting dealers in NJ with asinine dealer markups and bloat right now.

I have 50 Toyota dealers within 50 miles of me. NJ dealers are stuck in 2020 apparently.

Yea, I'd buy it. But I'd wait until the hybrid version. I'd also wait until next year for the bugs to iron out and possible some better color options - don't really like any of them right now. My RAV4 Hybrid is such a smooth drivetrain; hopefully it's similar. I'm just worried about the price. It would have to be with the upgraded screen; it's quite gorgeous.

But-- after over 20 years of Tacoma's, I might look into the 4Runner or Landcruiser first. I think it's time.

Premium with leather. Very, very nice. Love the interior. The cloth look is kinda ugly in my opinion. The light grey? Blah... The light grey is also on back of the seats.

Any comments on the rear leg room?

all the pictures and videos from online car reviewers show very little leg room, even less than the 2nd and 3rd gens. I’m wondering if these reviewers pushed the front seats all the way back instead I
    Of somewhere in the middle.

I am 5'11'' with a 29-30" inseam. When driver seat is in my driving position I was able to sit in the rear without my knees touching. I fit but would not want to ride back there for a long period of time.

I was worried about this, the few videos I’ve seen the back seat looked smaller than the outgoing generation

it does including driver and guest profile pin numbers. It makes it stupid to change out. Same way in my 2022 and 2023 tundras.

No storage behind the back seat backs is a deal breaker for me. Hybrid doesn't even have underseat storage. I'll be running my Gen 2 for a while, it's almost like new so I'm good.

The seats fold down and you can put some stuff behind the seat.
