Not sure about that but I was looking at the rims trying to decide if I like them - I do! When I look at this truck the body is modern but the rims are old school, like they would come off a small pickup truck from the 70's or 80's. I think they are an upgrade from the old steelies. That's actually a GREAT looking truck especially for the entry level SR.

Reminds me of the wheels on my dad's VW bus. Just needs a sweet chrome hub cap!

It was mentioned that some of the 2024 Tacoma test trucks were running Tundra wheels.... If thats the case the pattern is still 6x5.5, but they would have a smaller centerbore and a very high offset....the images sort of support that theory.

The wheels are 17" based on the tire size, width unknown but probably 7" based on the 245 tire width. Note the Tundra base/spare wheel is 18x7".

Lug pattern is the same as now, 6x5.5 or 6x139. Centerbore is likely shared with the Tundra at 95mm. Offset is likely same as the Tundra at +60mm.

P/N unknown as parts catalog for 2024 Tacoma hasn't been published. The Tundra doesn't use 17" wheels on the base trim, so nothing to be glanced there. Toyota only has a few accessory items listed (accessories shared with earlier models): https://autoparts.toyota.com/products/category/all-products?driveline=4WD+4-Cyl.+8AT&grade=SR+Extra+Cab&series_name=TACOMA&model_year=2024&page=1&model_year_code=2024:7514

The bed cleats are carried over from 2nd/3rd gen, PT278-35160 for the set.

The wheel locks are shared with the Tundra and Sequoia, so that confirms the larger 14mm thread size.

I use the Steelies on my 3rd gen and often find near new take offs on CL or FB market place... so I'd bet if you really want a set you could find em, probably with low mileage shoes attached....

I was going to ask where the beauty rings are. This might be sacrilegious, all this time I haven't ever seen a matte black trim ring. With all the plastic available to manufactures it would seem like a no brainer. Steel wheels with a matte black center cap and matte black trim ring would look cool on an OR truck or Jeep. I'd go an inch wider and lower the offset to get a little deeper rim for the lifted trucks. I do like them in chrome.

Are the steel wheels, the first one on the list, black or gray?

Is the bolt pattern the same for the 2024 verses the 3rd gen?

Yes but the centerbore is smaller and offset is higher.

So no 4th gen wheels wont work on a 3rd or earlier.

But I suppose the earlier ones would work on a 4th gen, though the 4th's also have larger 14mm lugs I think...like the image Fireme posted above....not sure it that would make it over 4th gen lug studs or not.

I think most of the posts in here have nothing to do with 4th gen steelies lol
