I have to say that it's a nice looking truck with some nice specs.

And at the same time I have zero interest in it over my 21. Idk what it is but none of that would entice me to try and upgrade (and I'm not exactly smitten with mine)

(Maybe if there was a hybrid manual....)

I'm sure we will find out more tomorrow with the official release.
I'm impressed with the fact that most everything that the Tacoma World guys have been worried about disappearing hasn't gone anywhere and they have even added most everything we have been asking for!
    Even a 2 door!

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Toyota did good. Morizo mindset changed a lot of things within the company.

I wonder if we get pricing tomorrow?
Not that I can afford one. A special set of circumstances allowed me to buy my Pro back towards the end of 2019

I’m surprised they offer a 4 linked option! And rear disc brakes!!!!! It looks promising. LOTS of changes. Pretty neat.

I think they've been watching us on TW.
It seems all the mods done on prior generations here on TW are there from the factory!
All the guys saying the Tacoma is going to be dethroned are going to be eating their words

Gotta say, I like the offerings. Let the dust settle and think about one in 2025.

Definitely not rushing out to order, another 5 or 6 years of driving I guess for my 2013.

Too many but also not enough mods
Other than the ARB Sport Bar, the Trailhunter would look great in my driveway in Solar Octane but wouldn't be surprised if it starts at $60k

I think Toyota knocked it out of the park. They finally got it.

When I first saw the 3rd gen, I knew it was just a modified/updated 2nd gen. I only bought my 3rd gen because my 2nd gen was totalled. The 4th gen is a completely different beast.

Now it would be nice if we could order what we want instead of what the dealer is allocated.

Lol…. agreed. But….. there is no doubt that they have been watching the off road/overland craze take off. Especially since the lockdowns. So has the competition. Toyota really was paying attention to all the gripes and mods in general. Hell they even offer an off road exhaust mod on the Trail hunter. Seating position complaint has been addressed. Looks like they will be offering a trim level to appeal to many budgets and tastes. Well done Toyota!

I may have missed something, but from the Toyota.com web site press release and other info on their web site, it seems they have eliminated the V6 entirely in the Tacoma line, and it's either a 4 cylinder alone, or 4 cylinder - electric hybrid??
