It came to the dealer today. I will pick her up on Saturday. I did get a quick drive in with her to make sure everything was ok. She’s not cleaned completely for pickup yet, but here is a preview of her

    Congrats on the truck!

I almost opted for the roof rack, because I thought it had factory mounting points, but decided against it when I found out it was a drill operation for a port install. If it's going to be drilled, I think I'll have to be present for it! I see the Predator steps on there as well. Do you know if the steps themselves can be removed for some added clearance and then put back on once back in civilization?

Anyway, what other options/accessories did you choose for it?

I also did not want the OEM roof rack.

The predator steps are held by only 4 bolts on each side, if I recall. They can be on or off in a few minutes. They very light.

Congrats!!…I had a deposit with Foothills for the longest time for this exact truck and finally decided I couldn’t stomach the mark up and found one on the east side at MSRP. They do seem to get the most manual pro’s in all of Washington state though.

    Enjoy it!!

That orange practicality glows. The grill surround is a different shade for whatever reason though. :mudding:

The different angles are just catching the light a bit differently. Cameras seem to emphasize the effect, but in person it all looks good together in my experience.

Not sure I phrased it correctly or if you are answering my question. I was wondering if just the steps that hang down can be removed while keeping the bar on the truck. I know there are some that can, but IDK if the predators are that way. Sorry if I'm being dense, but I want to be sure my question, and the answer, are clear.

50Buck - The steps cannot be removed leaving the bar. They are one complete piece. Though, really not much more time to remove the whole piece for clearance. As mentioned they are only held on with bolts at single points along the bar. Not any sort of real protection if that's your thought. Looks and convenience.

It's (6) bolts on each side. The step part is welded on. I hope to some day pickup a used set of sliders but I ran across a deal on these same steps that were practically brand new for $200 and the wife needs them to get in and out.

When the color first popped up online I was like....nah.

Then I saw it in person and thought it looked pretty rad.

    Good looking rig! Congrats!

Honestly I would have skipped the rack likely as well, but it was part of the build and it couldn’t be reversed. I will install a Yakima or Thule ski box on it. The drawback of a 5-foot bed is placing skies in there without having to put them diagonally. She also comes with some paint protection, the safe (also something I honestly don’t care about), the bed netting system (can’t think of the actual name) and the black Tacoma lettering. But that’s just the way she was built. Strangely enough she doesn’t have the bed lights.

There are so damn few PRO’s with stick shifts you kind of have to go with what they have ordered, unless you put in a custom order. I’m not even sure if you can do that? To be 100% honest, I would have loved a ‘23 with that army green color.

The Predator steps look like they are simple to unbolt, but they aren’t very intrusive for off- roading.
I will post more once I actually pick her up on Saturday.
She will be out immediately to work. Ski trip to Sun Peak just after Xmas. Long drive through snowy mountains passes.
