IMO the big selling point of the Trail Edition (vs OffRoad) is it has a factory lift.
Get an OffRoad save a few bucks and spend it on a lift.

    1. N2 Designs is one of the popular choices

    2. Bilstein 6112/5160 combo with an AAL in the back. Better ride, better hauling, and adjust the lift height as you want

I 2nd that! Bilstein 2" 5100's are the best bang for the buck, and Bilstein recommends you use the stock springs

King 2.5’s with adjusters from accutune front and rear, 88 rotors rear add a leaf, Camburg X-joint UCA’s, Factory style trd pro 16” wheels with 0 offset, 285/75/16 KO2’s, pro grille, Front bumper viper cut, trd front skid plate, full RCI under skid plates, Cali raised trail sliders, exhaust cut dump, KDMax 10.0 tune
I’d highly advise AGAINST Westcott lift. It’ll still put extra stress on your suspension components. I would look at Bilstein 5100s or 6112/5160s.

And yes I agree, I’d go with an Off-road rather than trail edition. The trail edition uses some cheapy lifted shocks and the off-road is a better bang for your buck

Then change #2 to Kings or Fox's. I won't be touching my suspension until I can go all in.

Trail edition may look cool but that’s all you get with the trail edition. Cool looks. The off-road has more off-road features, LED’s black headliner, fog lights, and better suspension and is usually cheaper

Bro while I agree with some of you're point, but definitely not all, the OP is asking about the Trail Edition he already owns. So enjoy all your bells and whistles and we'll enjoy our Trail's. There's room around here for both of us...

True. To get back to the suspension, if you’re going to go top shelf. King 2.5’s with adjusters or Fox 2.5 performance elite series from accutune. I’m going with Kings from accutune just because King is located pretty close to me and their customer service is better it seems
