Another user succinctly described my exact issue: "Just picked up my 2023 Tacoma V6 Dbl Cab 4x4 about 2 weeks ago. So far, I love it I didn't notice it at first and don't think it was doing it, but I noticed this week, when I or my wife are connected either bluetooth or Carplay, the person on the other end hears a "buzzing" almost like old car door open alarms. This is with either of our phones, both iPhone"
It's at the Toyota dealer service right now and they have not heard of it and further said they couldn't replicate it with their phones so I had them call me twice and both times it happened. Now they admit there's a problem, "were on the phone with Torota now"My Qi charger also causes my iphone to become extremely hot while offering an incredibly slow charge, about 4-6% in 45 minutes and the phones so hot I have to remove it for fear of damage". Not sure if these two issues could be related. Stay tuned..

No Qi car charger is great. The main issue is that wireless charging is pretty inefficient to begin with (especially when you have a case on) and the charger can't vent heat pretty much at all. A few have tried stock-looking mods on here, but no one was able to do it successfully and found the heat to be the main issue.

As for the buzzing, I couldn't tell you. I do know the Bluetooth systems are not great for phone calls in general, especially at highway speeds. I usually end up using my Galaxy Buds (or AirPods in my wife's case) as opposed to the speaker Bluetooth system.

The stereo has that issue... its not really a defect. The fix when a call is going is there is a transmit volume setting on the screen. Click that and lower it like halfway. That cleared up mine from sounding like complete crap.

IIRC…..If you have an iPhone. During a call… You need to swipe down on your iPhone and select voice isolation. That significantly helped me.

Mine has this issue. I’ll try the volume thing & see if that helps.

There's a setting in the menu for microphone sensitivity, i lowered it down, and people said they could hear me much more clearly.
