    Hello....

Anyone on here take delivery of a 2023 SR5 4x4 V6 ? what options did you take?

Are you happy with your new Taco ..

I'm planing on ordering a 2023 SR5 double cab 5 ft bed in the spring , trading my beloved 2006 TRD access cab
Don't like the idea giving up my chrome rear bumper but I want the Technology package with parking assist.. which requires the painted bumper :(
trying to keep my cost at or under $40k The TDR sport is close but i don't need thew hood scoop

Thanks in advance for your feed back

Not sure what your questions are but I’m happy with my 22. 23 is pretty much unchanged from 16

sounds like gen 4 won't be till later. haven't heard any rumors that the 23 will be much different than the last several years

If you chose this package, you can have both:

I don't think Toyota has started producing 23s yet, still producing 22 model year, but should switch over in the next month or so. It really shouldn't matter, the 22 and 23 SR5 are much the same, 23 adds a new option package or two. I just purchased a 22 SR5 AC and absolutely love it. For reference, I've had a 16, 18, and 21 (all TRD OR DCSB, 16 was auto 18 and 21 were manuals). This 22 SR5 access cab is my favorite. It has everything I need and nothing I don't, and so far, is getting much better mpg than any of the others (I hand calculate and track every fill up and the TRDOR all were in the 19.XX mpg range for their overall averages, the SR5 has only got around 1600 miles, but so far my average is 22.4 mpg). I don't have kids so the AC is great for me, I love the longer bed as well. I have no regrets in going with SR5 this time. I plan to hang onto this one for the long haul and I think the SR5 is the best build for this. Personally, I hate the chrome bumper, and it almost made me back out of the deposit for my SR5, but mine actually came with the color matched bumper even though it doesn't have the tech package.

My dealer has been showing 23's in transit for a few weeks. I asked about them before I bought my truck and they said they were expecting them sometime soon. I wanted to wait for a 23' but they almost never get manuals, and I didn't want to try and 'order' one.

I'm with you on the bumper. I was really happy to see that my OR wasn't painted. Most others on the lot were.

Every 23 Tacoma 4x4 SR5 V6 Double cabs that are in transit are SALE pending by my dealer...(Rahal) Looks like I have to actually build and place an order in the spring at this point... Maybe more will come in looks like the affordable SR5 trim is the most popular

Follow up question. do the adjustable rail side bed cleats come standard on 2023 trims? my 2006 tacoma they came standard it has four of them

but I also see it as a option on 2023 build list

    thanks

The bed cleats do, however, the bed LIGHTS do not.

i think it depends on the tech package you order with the truck if getting the bed lights or not. My 2020 sr5 came with them, but i wanted other stuff also when i ordered the truck. My dealer said they automatically come with the bed lights.

You and my dad must hangout on weekends. He loves his chrome on his Sierra and I’m anti-chrome. I’m glad enough people like both.

Yes, get the color keyed bumper with BSM and parking assist. Both are awesome and work great.
