2023 Tacoma Mods - What are some of your first mods?

First time Toyota owner here! Just bought a brand new TRD Off Road last week and so far I’m really liking it. So far I’ve done some minor things but over time im hoping to really mod it up. I swapped out the internal lights for leds, added rain guards, tints, bed cover, and sequential mirror blinkers. What were you first mods? Would love to see some pics

Nice. I was disappointed at how crappy the original sound system was. What speakers did you upgrade to?

 

Ds9 tweeters (plug and play) and kicker bolt ins from crutchfield. Works great for non jbl trucks

 

Subaru tweeters. OED bed mat. Diode Dynamics fog lights. Meso start button. Talons Garage cat shield. Tufskinz tailgate and glove box letter inserts. RekGen mud flaps. WeatherTech floor liners.

I've had my 23 Off Road Tacoma almost month and a half and have added:
Window tint
Tonneau cover
Replaced all speakers and tweeters
Dash mat
Black badge overlays
Replaced chrome rear bumper corners with black ones
Bug shield
Black exhaust tip should be here in a few days (I like a quiet truck so no need for a full cat back)

But for the price I paid you might as well get the kickers. More proven brand. Usually the kicker tweeters run $109 new. BAM wholesale just has killer deals on open box items

 

yea you snagged a good deal, unfortunately I’ll have to buy brand new. So,
kicker tweeters>DS18? They’re $119 on Amazon

 

I’ve seen some YouTube videos where they say the ds18s sound better than the kickers. I went with the ds18s and think they sound great. Got them for $70 so pretty happy to save $50 over the kickers.

I would go with ds18 if you’re buying new. It’s worth the savings

 

First mods? Before I signed papers, I had them take out carpet floor mats, take off the side steps and something else I didn't want to pay for.

LLumar ATC30 tint (2 fronts).
OEM tube steps and mud guards.
BakFlip G2 tonneau cover.
OEM bed mat and LED bed lights.
OEM tailgate inserts (black).
OEM exhaust tip.
De-badged.
