2022 Toyota Tacoma Off-Road Purchase???

I am looking to buy a 2022 Toyota Tacoma Off-Road TRD straight from a dealer near me. I have done the virtual build on Toyota's website. When I click Lunar Rock as my color it requires technology package. I do not really care for it. Has anyone had any experience with this? If so were you able to take it off when you speak to the dealer. Any tips before even going to the dealer to talk/finalize build.

Also side question for anyone who purchased the TRD lift I see it says installation not included around how much was it to install?

First time buying new, so sorry for all the newbie questions. Bought my last taco used and walked out in a two hours with a smile on my face.

 

The website only lets build truck that are actually being built. So that means thag truck is already built or going to be built with those options.

 

You will get LED headlights and a color keyed rear bumper (vs chrome), both are desirable. Blind Spot Monitoring, IMO who cares!
That said, I have a base OR, and I am happy to have saved the $1200

 

You might have to settle for not exactly what you want. These trucks are hard to come by and a lot of guys are out there looking like you. There’s a thread about how long guys have waited. You might want to read a little of that before you pick a rare set of options.
