    Hi Guys,
I’m in the Chicagoland area and my SR utility arrives end of December and really would like the back seats and seat back panels. Anyone want to swap for my utility panels? I’d be happy to pay a fair price. Thanks very much.

I don't know that you'll get a taker, that's a swap most guys don't want. If you gotta have the back seats and you haven't taken delivery of your truck you may want to roll your deposit onto the SR access cab convenience package. You will be in it for a grand more but you get the backseats plus a few other nice features (rear slider, keyless entry IIRC), plus color matched bumpers. Higher resale too.

Even if you find a swap you're looking at a few hours of labor plus you'd be installing some guys old fart covered seats in your brand new truck.

I have a utility and love it but had I not bought used for a great price I'd have gotten the convenience package.

Check the 3rd gen buy/sell/trade section.

Here is one posted a few days ago, but you should check to make sure there are not model year changes.

Why did you choose the Utility and not the Package? To save money? Then spend $$ to add what you didn't buy.........

Kinda like going to McDs for a hamburger sans meat, then asking in the dining area to buy someone's meat.

    Did I miss something???

My advise is get an Access Cab with rear seats (if the dealer can work it out). I normally have my rear seats flipped up for my dog platform (similar to the platform in post #1), but flip them down when a human occasionally rides in the back (which is about once every 2 years). My dog loves the platform and it is handy when shopping at Costco.

If someone wants it bad enough, maybe so. Not sure what all the components are new. I should sell mine to pay for a few mods or keep funding my bad habits :anonymous:

Ha! Thanks for all the responses! I ordered the utility because Toyota doesn’t build what I want…Access cab, 6ft bed, 2.7 4x4 in manual transmission. I have 2012 currently with all the above, but wanted something newer with all the modern goodies, and still retain the utilitarian look, ie steel wheels, black bumpers non tinted windows. I occasionally use my backseats, but it’s not a must have, just nice to have. Someone above mentioned resale….the best resale is the utility model in the SR line, only a couple of bucks difference in a year or two. If you kbb 2021 utility vs base model, less than $300 in value so in the long run the SR utility is the resale king…but I’d still like a back seat:)

I dunno man, I paid $32,500 new for my 2019 OR/LB 4x4 and was offered $39,000 from Toyota at my last service. So, in terms of loss of retail value, I’m feeling pretty good…

I’d recommend buying what you want if buying new. For a couple grand I’d step up or wait until inventories are better. We looked at some new sienna minivans today on a whim, lol nearly 50k used, the market is insane.
